When one color runs out on your G6090 printer, you will need to replace only that color rather than replacing all four colors at once like some other printers require (such as Brother MFC-J625DW). To change out a cartridge in this model: First remove any paper from inside by pressing down on its faceplate until it pops up; then pull up gently until all sheets have been removed; now open up both doors located at either side near where paper comes out (these should already be open); finally lift off coverings over each individual compartment containing ink cartridges inside bottom section called “maintenance station”.
